WHO ARE EMERALD CITY MODELERS?
WHAT DO WE DO? Our members collect, build, swap and trade models of any type and era. While the bulk of the models we work with are almost entirely made of plastic, our members also build models made of wood, resin, vinyl, metal and even paper. Our goal is to increase the modeling skills of each member so that they can feel good about their achievements and want to expand their range and scope of the enjoyable hobby of model building. Our monthly meetings start at 7:30 PM and run for about 2 hours depending on the program of the night. We also run occasional clinics at our meetings which explain various skills in modeling.
Sure! Our club has male and female members ranging in ages from teens to retired. This is an excellent family event as we have several members who also have members of their families involved. CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION? No problem! Contact club President John Splichal (316-744-9719), Web Master Troy Downen (316-682-7568) or email us using the winged envelope on the navigation bar (to the left).
